No Arm rests were with the shipment , no holes cut out to put in some of the screws so had to manaully drill holes into it. The quality of the fabric is nice, but crappy set upThis couch looks good, it's easy to change from couch to guest bed, it appears to be well made, and is pretty comfortable. This was a good purchase. Note that each of the 2 seat cushions is wide enough for 2 people. If you're used to having 3 people on a couch with one person in the middle (which is typical for a 3-cushion couch), note that sitting in the middle on this couch (half on one cushion, half on the other) is not very comfortable. Still, very good value for the money.It was not easy to assemble. Start from the inside of the sofa side.Really pretty color, firm but not uncomfortable. Good for anyone who wants lighter weight furniture. Easy to assemble (half hr) hardest part was getting it out of the box really lol.Just be aware that the back side doesn't have the green fabric on it (probably since it's a futon), so make sure its always on a wall, and not placed in the middle of a room.i got this because the weight limit was high and I wanted something to last. It's not bad comfort wise. the arms aren't cushioned at all but it's like 6 feet from arm to arm. so get a pillow if you're sleeping on the couch. mostly disappointed at how much it clings to cat hair. it's a daily struggle.It's not a $1000 couch for a reason. It's sort of shallow for sitting so if you do want to recline, you really need something to put your feet up on or comfort will not be achieved. The seam down the middle between the two halves hurts if you sit down on it too hard, and sleeping feels better in couch mode than folded down.It serves the purpose of a two people couch fine, three's a crowd unless the middle person brings something softer to sit on.The couch isn't bad at all is pretty sturdy and firm and it takes like 20 mins to assemble but is pretty comfortable I almost felt sleep on it with a pillow and blanket this couch is a must need pillow the side arm rests are not soft they're hard and uncomfortable
